About the publication

The Scientific Papers of UNWE is a reviewed scientific publication of the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. It is a collection in both English and Bulgarian and includes results from scientific studies presented in the forms of studies, articles, conference reports, scientific announcements, etc. 

The Scientific Papers of UNWE publishes only original research works that have not been published before and have not been simultaneously submitted for publication anywhere else. Manuscripts are written and submitted in accordance with the requirements of the editorial board. The review of the studies and articles is done in compliance with the assessment standards of the double blind review system.  

Scientific profile

The Scientific Papers of UNWE publishes results from scientific studies in the fields of economics, administration, management, law and political studies as well as in areas related to them.

Publication ethics

The editorial board of The Scientific Papers of UNWE (the Board) follows the principles of legality, independence, objectivity, impartiality, publicity, tolerance and professional qualification. Thus, it provides equal opportunities for protection of the authors’ legal rights and interests.

The Board follows the commonly adopted norms of publication ethics. The editorial policy of the publication is based on the international standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE, (http://publicationethics.org/files/u2/New_Code.pdf). These standards are followed by the editors, reviewers, authors and publisher in the publication process. On the website of the publication, the editorial board has published its contacts, the rules it follows, the requirements to the contributors and the criteria for assessment/review of the manuscripts.
